Raclette Cheese (1 lb) Overview



Raclette is made in the Alps on both sides of the French-Swiss border. Eaten as a table cheese, Raclette has a smooth, creamy taste that is neither too salty nor sharp. This cheese is traditionally melted (a half wheel is placed in a firepl ace, then the melted top surface is continuously scraped off) and layered atop boiled potatoes, pickles, fresh vegetables and sliced meats.

The package was shipped and I was not there to receive it. The office in my complex was closed and the package sat at FEDEX over the weekend. The package was marked perishable and it perished as it sat three days at FEDEX. The company contacted me and sent me a replacement as their records showed them the package sat and was not retrieved for three days. This is a great product offered by a company with excellent customer service - for the gourmet, you are the best. I would order from them again definitely.
